It’s that time of the year – time to start thinking about what band instrument you’d like to play next year!!
The INSTRUMENT CARNIVAL (where you try ALL the instruments) is on Thursday, February 4th and Tuesday, February 8th. You only need to come to ONE of the tryouts. Even if you’re not sure you want to be in band, come anyway…it will be FUN!!

It has come to our attention recently that a terrific resource has been made available in PDF form for music students.
It is called the Arban Method for Trumpet. The exercises in the book can be played by any and all treble clef instruments despite the fact that it was written specifically for Trumpet players.
If your student would like to use this as a supplement to their regular practicing, then they can download the PDF’s and practice to their hearts content. The book is divided up into 5 different downloads and is over 300 pages long in total. We suggest that you just play it off of your device.
We are not using this for performance or a grade, but just offering up whatever tools we can find to help your students play their best.
